Hiking to Pali Falls in Pearl City
Palisades Falls - September 5, 2016 Better known as Waimano Falls, the residents in Pearl City Palisades call it Palisades Falls. I know this because while teaching at Pearl City, the kids there don't call it Waimano Falls, they don't even know what that is. Today, our family joined Michelle's co-worker Jonelle and her kids this hike. Actually there were a lot of people on this hike. Even the OAG's came along. The trail is extremely popular, that is why now, I put it in the category of touristy because when we got there, about 2 dozen people where at the falls. While going back, another 50 people were heading towards the falls, making the traffic about 100 people in the short time we were there. The highlight of the hike was the kids jumping off the ledge into a deep pool. It rained a few days before which flushed out all the crap water. I was comfortable with the kids swimming in the pool.
